Did you know "Phillips head" is a proper noun which should be capitalized?

This is because it's named after its inventor, John P. Thompson.... 

Hey, wait a minute....

Yep. That's right. Thompson invented the self-centering screw. Henry F. Phillips, for whom the screw is named, purchased the patent rights for the design from John P. Thompson in Portland, Oregon in 1935. Thompson had been trying to sell the design to screw manufacturers all over the country ... unsuccessfully.

Phillips Screw still exists today!
