One of the things we discussed when we started Manatee Max, was the possibility of one day actually making more than we need. That was in 2016.  Here we are a little over a year later and Max is just barely paying the rent and keeping a roof over our heads. A lot of new businesses don't even survive their first year, so we're calling that a success. Max just took out a business loan which (if we're not careful) might bring the whole thing down around us. But, it was necessary for Max to shift into 2nd gear. I s'pose we'll see in a year whether or not it was a smart move.
