Manatee Max's Neighborhood

It's another beautiful day in Max's neighborhood, and Max's neighborhood is full of great neighbors.
Our newest neighbor is Mack Yacht Services. I could go on and on about them and the services they provide, or, you can just check out their web site. It has lots of pretty boat pictures. We're glad to be sharing the canal with great neighbors like them.
Fact is, in our little town of Port Salerno, you can find marine services for every need, including our very own do-it-yourself boat yard. Port Salerno Marine, "Where 'do it yourself' doesn't mean you have to do it yourself."
You don't have to need boat repairs to visit Port Salerno. We have lot's of other good reasons to come here. Number one on most folks' list is the fishing. We have miles and miles of Atlantic coastline, the intracoastal waterway, pockets, rivers, canals, nooks and crannies of great fishing, and a channel that takes you to Lake Okeechobee and on to the Gulf of Mexico.
Then, there's our great a manatees. Or, .... um..... Amenities, like Pirate's Cove Resort & Marina, with nice accommodations, a restaurant and tiki bar, and lots of charter fishing boats from which to choose.
Here's a Partial List of Charters.
(I hear tell if you're lucky, you might even accidentally bump into Fletcher Morton while you're there.)
If you're hungry, and have already sampled the fare at Pirate's Cove, we have several other dining establishments within walking distance.
Basin Seafood & Fresh Fish Market
and, The Twisted Tuna
Outside of Port Salerno, we have Hobe Sound and Tequesta to the south, and to the north, Stuart, Rio (pronounced Rī'-o, not Rē'-o), and Jensen Beach, all of which have nice intracoastal and beach access, fine dining and entertainment. And, to our west we have Palm City also with dining and lots of great river fishing.
Did I mention we're only ten minutes south of the Stuart Jet Center? That means, if you've come to Port Salerno to deliver a boat to or from the islands, or if you want to drop your boat off in Port Salerno, but don't want to stay, your charter plane is waiting just up the road.
I have to add, Max and Pearl have several favorite eateries in and around Port Salerno - so many that it would take too long to list. Oh, I have one more thing for you... While you're here, you have to take a sunset cruise aboard the Lily. The owners/crew (Fred and Jamie), are great folks, and sailing along with the sun going down is good soul food. Turn your phone off or just leave the damned thing behind. Bring drinks and appetizers, relax and enjoy. I could keep this list going on and on with all the great things to do in this area, But typing with flippers is a lot of work for a manatee.
You don't have to visit Port Salerno to get Manatee Max's great service and fast shipping on marine gear and accessories, but we love our little town and love to have you visit.
