Max is excited about Thanksgiving. It's one of his favorite holidays, mostly because manatees eat almost 10% of their body weight of food every day. He loves the floating hyacinth creole, pickled pickerel weed, almond crusted alligator weed, water lettuce hydrilla and water celery salad, mangrove leaf rolls, and grasses? Did someone say grasses? Max loves sea grasses, shoal grass, manatee grass, turtle grass, widgeon grass, as well as sea clover, and he says, Pearl makes the best marine algae casserole you've ever tasted. And even though manatees are primarily herbivores, Thanksgiving is the perfect excuse to indulge in some fish and clams. Max ain't no turkey. He knows what's good and how to get it.

 Time to go find Pearl and butter her up a bit. "Kiss me, my little Gourami."
