Crabby's Seafood Shack

Crabby's Seafood Shack

We have the Stuart Sailfish Regatta in full swing today. Coral is out hunting Walking Deadfish with his friends. And Pearl and Max spent the morning working on improving product images and descriptions for https://manateemax.com/.

We decided we deserved a treat. So we went to Crabby's Seafood Shack to sample their bill of fare. It's tucked away in an inconspicuous corner of the Downtown Stuart Shopping Center, you know, where Harper's is and Schumacher Music was. We got there after normal lunchtime, so there were only about a half dozen or so other patrons. The atmosphere has a nautical fishing stuff motif, mostly made from actual boats and parts. We sat at the transom shaped bar, which looks like the aft deck of an old sportfisher complete with all the trimmings. We ordered a rare bacon cheeseburger, a crab cake sandwich and a couple of unsweet teas from Ron. (We're already sweet enough.) The service was as quick as need be. (If you want it faster, hit the Chick-Fil-A drive through.) We chatted with Ron a bit about this and that.  I was pleased to notice a lack of televisions, but Ron said they had one hidden. The food was excellent and a good value for the buck.

Crabby's Seafood Shack is owned by the folks who also own Gettin Crabby in Port Salerno -  A fact I almost didn't feel the need to point out, as Crabby's Seafood Shack stands quite well on its own merits. If I was forced at gunpoint to pick out a negative aspect, it would be that Crabby's ain't on the water.  'Tis but a small price to pay for a fine meal such as you'll find at this landlocked establishment.

"We shall return.  We.... SHALL.... Return."
