Ask Max (Installment One)

Ask Max (Installment One)

Trying to come up with a blog post [almost] every day is quite trying. I can fill it sometimes with "Today in History!" But, that gets pretty old after the 365.25th time, and very rarely are there interesting historical stories that directly involve manatees. I can write about the products we sell or boring instructional information. But, who hasn't done that?

Last weekend I sent out a request for questions that I can answer to help solve the great mysteries of life ...  like, "Mom, have you seen my shoes?" or "How is bridge clearance measured?" and "Where can I get a new mast?"

Well, I only got two responses to my request.

So, for our first installment of 'Ask Max' we have a letter from Vesztes Perdedor from Kinnakeet, North Carolina, who asks:

Well, Vesztes, that's a great question, and one that I'm sure a lot of people ask often.  Winners are made by taking mechanically separated "meat", sodium nitrates (usually cheaper than dayrates), autolyzed yeast extract, monosodium glutamate, bug parts, high fructose corn syrup, emulsifiers, gelling agents, rodent hairs, flavoring agents, and hydrolyzed soy protein, .... and then, putting them all in a REALLY BIG blender.  Then they....

Hold on a minute.

Oh. Sorry. I misunderstood the question.

Vesztes, I don't know what makes winners. Try hard? Practice a lot? And do your very best?

Stay tuned for installment two of 'Ask Max', when I answer Loro Cabeza's question, "I'm taking a trip to Mexico this summer.  How do I say "taco" in Spanish?"

If you have a question for Max, shoot me an e-mail or hit me up on Facebook and I'll do my dangedest to give you some kind of answer.
