Ja das stimmt. Ich habe gesagt... Oh, I'm sorry. I got caught up in all the excitement. Or, as we like to say in German, "Ich möchte Ihren Fingerspitzen zu den wolverenes zu füttern!"
On March 8th, 1950, the Volkswagen Transporter was born.
Now, some might say, "Well, that's not worthy of a blog post."
...And, now that they're gone, we can proceed.
The Volkswagen Transporter - also called the van, bus, station wagon or Steve, has its engine in the rear.
Oh, who am I trying to kid? I don't know enough about this subject to write an informative blog. After all, I'm a frickin' manatee. So, instead I'm going to fill this with pictures, silly videos, a cool movie trailer, and try to sneak in an ad or two for somewhat relative products sold on ManateeMax.com.
This anniversary is important to me though. Because my grandfather, the great Ubergropenknocker Riecht Nach Fisch had a VW Transporter. He used to pick us up in it once a year and drive us to the annual Rosenkohl Festival in Brussels.
